What We Believe
At Undignified Church, we are a Spirit-filled, non-denominational Christian church rooted in the authority of Scripture, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the mission of Jesus Christ. We exist to see lives transformed through God’s presence, His Word, love, and obedient faith.
We exist to make disciples who live in God's presence, walk in holiness, and love people well. We believe the Church is not a building but a people called to live lives set apart, empowered by God's presence and sent into the world to reflect His love and truth.
Our Core Beliefs
The One True God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
He is the Creator of all things, holy, loving, just, and worthy of all worship.
Matthew 28:19 • 2 Corinthians 13:14
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man.
He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of the Father. Salvation is found in Christ alone, by grace through faith alone.
John 1:1–14 • Romans 5:8 • Ephesians 2:8–9
The Resurrection & Eternal Hope
We believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the promise that all who place their faith in Him will receive eternal life. We also believe in the future resurrection of believers and the eternal reign of Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:20–22 • John 11:25
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the literal, visible return of Jesus Christ.
He will return to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal Kingdom.
Acts 1:11 • Revelation 22:12
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is active and present today, empowering believers to live holy, bold, and transforming lives.
The Holy Spirit:
Convicts the world of sin
Regenerates the believer
Empowers the Church
Distributes spiritual gifts
John 16:7–14 • Romans 8:11
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, distinct from salvation, and available to all believers.
This baptism empowers believers for bold witness, holy living, and effective ministry. We believe speaking in tongues is a biblical evidence and gift associated with this baptism, as seen in Scripture.
Acts 1:8 • Acts 2:1–4 • Acts 10:44–46
Miracles, Signs, and Wonders
We believe that miracles, healing, prophecy, and the gifts of the Spirit are for today.
God still heals, delivers, speaks, and moves powerfully among His people.
Mark 16:17–18 • 1 Corinthians 12:7–11 • Hebrews 13:8
The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, fully authoritative and trustworthy.
It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and daily living.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 • Psalm 119:105
The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to reflect God’s love, truth, and power in the world. The Church is a people, sent to live on mission.
Ephesians 1:22–23 • Acts 2:42–47
Equipping of the Saints
We believe that the Church is called to equip the saints for the work of ministry, not to replace their responsibility or centralize it on a few leaders. God gives leadership to the Church to train, mature, and empower believers to live out their God-given purpose both within the Body of Christ and in the world. Every believer is called to grow in spiritual maturity, walk in their gifts, and actively participate in building up the Church.
Ephesians 4:11–16
The Great Commission
We believe every believer is called to go into the world and spread the Gospel, making disciples of all nations.
Evangelism, discipleship, worship, and service are central to the life of the Church.
Matthew 28:18–20 • Acts 1:8
A Life Transformed
We believe that following Jesus results in a transformed life marked by repentance, holiness, obedience, love, and ongoing surrender to God. Transformation is a process empowered by grace and led by the Holy Spirit.
Romans 12:1–2 • Galatians 5:22–25
